Kinue Kato is a UK based Japanese actress and voice over artist, born in Tokyo Japan.
She has appeared in various feature films, television and short clips such as TFI FRIDAY with Sir Elton John (ITV), as a presenter at ONLY IN JAPAN (C4), award winning film TOKYO JIM, Feature film AS YOU LIKE IT, THE DAY OF KAMIKAZE (C4) and more.. and she has produced and performed the role of Hermione Shakespeare's "Winter’s tale"at the Rudolph Steiner Theatre in the UK.
She has also appeared in many advertisements to her credit including Wrigley’s Orbit, Microsoft, VISA , New York Stock Exchange, Wagamama (Katsu-Mama Campaign), Hummus AAFRA (ISRAEL) and modelling for functions on Beckham’s World Cup Party (ITV) and much more..
As a singer and performer, she has performed with various music groups including Frank Chickens. As a member of Frank Chickens, she appeared in BBC sky, CHANNEL 4, Jazz Cafe, 100 CLUB, 333, Hackney Empire and Cochrane Theatre and toured in Germany, Italy, Austria and many other countries and was also a member of a musical group trio called World Express and now continues to perform around the UK with K & G Music.
As a Voice over artist, Kinue has worked in every area of the voice over industry and her skills are constantly in demand from clients nationwide and throughout the World.
Her talent for comedy and improvisation, has led to in-vision roles in TV adverts across the globe for brands such as Wagamama, AFFRA (Israel) and Only in Japan.
Furthermore, she has played numerous character roles on World Shop and helped produce narrations for London Calling in Fuji TV. Since then she did voice overs for Netflix series such as MERCURY 13, DARK TOURIST, COOKING ON HIGH, QUEER EYES, END GAME,
AN AMERICAN DREAM and narrations for the episodes of Venice and Soho / London on "Journey on the Paradise on Earth" in NHK (JAPAN).
She has also used her voice in the BBC drama, Video game for Sega, for a Feature Film called Vantage Point (Sony Pictures) and several corporate works such as Google, Microsoft, Hilton International, AXA, Burberry, Mercedes Benz, Swarovski, Boeing, Japan Air lines, Moet & Chandon and TV commercials in Japan such as Fitbit, Triumph also JSTV and OAK furniture land in UK and more..
